Day 1: Journey to the Wild Frontier
Depart from Kampala or fly into Kidepo’s airstrip. Enjoy a scenic drive through the rugged Karamoja region, arriving at your lodge in time for a sunset game drive on the Narus Valley floor — where lions, elephants, buffaloes, and giraffes gather around seasonal water sources.
Day 2: Valley of Giants
Morning game drive in the Narus Valley followed by an afternoon exploration of the dramatic Kidepo Valley. Stand in awe of the dry, rocky riverbed flanked by borassus palms and sandstone cliffs. Spot cheetahs, ostriches, and bat-eared foxes in this semi-desert landscape.
Day 3: Culture & Carnivores
Visit a traditional Karamojong manyatta (homestead) to learn about their semi-nomadic pastoral life. Later, embark on a predator-focused safari to track lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas with expert rangers.
Day 4: Farewell to the Wild
Early morning bush walk or final game drive before departing. Transfer back to Kampala or connect to your next destination.
